We've all heard it before.. "Knowledge is power." What does this really mean? In our view, it is having the information or knowledge to empower yourself to make decisions that are right for you and your family. That is part of what we want to do here at Hidden 58 Farm. We want to be an educational resource, where you can come and read about a myriad of food, farm, and environmental topics.
What we believe in is growing food as close to the natural way as is possible while ensuring a safe, clean, healthy environment for our produce and animals. We believe in treating these animals with the respect they deserve as a source of sustenance for our family and yours, not like chattel to be mistreated as we see fit.
In the interest of transparency, when discussing or writing about any topic we will distinguish between anecdotal and scientific evidence so we don't confuse what is fact with what is an opinion or an experience. That's not to say anecdotal evidence is wrong or has no value, but it is important to understand the difference between the two.
